Week01: Introduction to Modelling
The balsa form model of a simple single storey house is perched on the second more descriptive black card house model. The upside down balsa model that pierces through the roof of the black card model evokes a sense of destruction and unease. This amalgamation of two models that replicate the form of a traditional house, offers an element of surprise, where the final product's sculptural aspect is evidently more prominent than the assumed design purpose as an inhabitable space, .
